The staff demonstrated a genuine commitment to making my stay enjoyable. The Nespresso coffee machine in the room added a touch of luxury I appreciated.
Limited on-site amenities could enhance the overall experience.

Great food, but room needs a refresh!
We had a nice 2-night stay as a couple. The eggs Benedict for breakfast was delicious, and the steak night was a great deal. The staff were friendly, even if they were a bit stretched. our room felt a bit worn and could definitely use some updates. it was a mixed bag for sure.

Amazing staff and charming atmosphere
I recently stayed for one night and was delighted by the hospitality of the staff. They were incredibly friendly and attentive, ensuring that my experience was enjoyable from start to finish. The room was beautifully appointed, featuring a Nespresso coffee machine, which was a lovely touch. the only downside was the breakfast. while plentiful, there were some limitations in the hot dishes offered, particularly on busy mornings.

The room was beautifully decorated with a stunning view of the bay, and the breakfast service was relaxing, albeit a bit slow. However, the limited dining options in the bar were unexpectedly disappointing.

I had an excellent stay at Grange Hotel! The classic double room was spacious and came with a cozy corner chair that was perfect for reading. The breakfast spread was delightful with plenty of options, and the staff went above and beyond to make me feel at home. Plus, the location near the seafront was just fantastic for morning walks.
I found the room to be quite warm during my stay.

I had a lovely time with my family enjoying the beautiful grounds. The location was perfect for relaxing walks, and we appreciated the classic decor around the hotel. It was wonderful to celebrate my aunt's 90th birthday in such a charming place.
My kids wished for a smoother check-in process. The initial room didn’t meet our request, and service could improve for families, especially with accessibility needs.

A comfy bed and a serene location made for a cozy night. Plus, I loved how close we were to bars and restaurants—perfect for our little jaunt! Great drink selection too at the bar.
Had to wait ages for a drink—turns out, one bartender isn’t enough for a hotel! And let's just say if the decor were a person, it’d need a facelift pronto.

The suite upgrade made our stay feel truly special. The staff provided excellent service with informative and friendly assistance throughout our visit.
The overall ambiance, while charming, did highlight some aging aspects of the hotel.

missingWrote a review on Oct 26stunning viewsexcellent serviceperfect locationlack of information
Had a great time with my friends! We loved the stunning views and explored nearby fells. The service during breakfast was excellent, and the location is perfect for easy walks to the seafront.
One downside was a lack of information about leisure facilities upon check-in. It would have been helpful to know what to expect in advance.

missingWrote a review on Oct 24comfortable bedfriendly staff
I had an elegant warm room with a super comfortable four poster bed and a great view of the bay. The staff? They were genuinely friendly, made me feel welcome from the moment I stepped in. It was a relaxing break – just what I needed after a long journey.
It wasn’t exactly inexpensive but I guess you pay for quality.

The room was clean and had a nice setup. Fresh towels every day, which was great. But it got really hot. definitely needed air conditioning. The bed was comfy enough, but I wouldn't say it was anything special. a decent spot, but a bit stifling at times.

would love to return
Great location near the train station and Victorian charm throughout. My room had a king size bed and fast free WiFi. The breakfast buffet was extensive with full English options. Dinner in the bar had good food, though the menu was limited. Ample parking and friendly staff made it a nice stay. Spa facilities looked good too!

we really enjoyed our stay at the grange hotel. the room was super comfy and clean, which made it easy to relax. the location is amazin, with beautiful views of the surrounding area. the breakfast was delicious and had a great variety. the staff were so friendly and made us feel welcomed!
the service at dinner was slow, and we had a long wait for our food. also, the toilet in our room made a loud noise that was really annoying.

The desserts were absolutely divine! I found some culinary gems close by like Carriages Restaurant next door. The pool area was lovely too, even if you had to pay extra to use it.
Now, not gonna lie—the room was like a sauna! Even with the fan on, I was still sweating like a roast chicken. Plus, breakfast could have been a bit more posh instead of just buffet style.

The whole experience was fantastic. The breakfast with so much choice, cooked perfectly, and the friendly staff made us feel welcomed.
It wasn’t cheap, but for what we got – it's a fair trade-off.
